SOME FINAL THOUGHTS

For freedom, security, having anything you want, and just plain having one helluva good time, nothing comes close to trading. The only thing comparable to the fun we have as a family is our private training of over 450 individuals who are now successful full-time traders. The oldest was a fine gentleman of almost 90 years, who had the mind of a teenager. The youngest was a teenager who had the wisdom of a mature man. This youngest trader, whose name is Chip, had graduated from college at a very early age, traveled around the world twice on his own, and was recommended by a friend because of his spirit and brilliance. I hesitated a long while and insisted on meeting him several times before I would agree to train him. He was turned down by a quote retrieval service because the head of this worldwide company felt no one that young should be trading commodities.

He now trades from his house on a private island in the Gulf of Mexico with nothing but miles of beaches on each side and with no humans in sight. He uses a power generator, a satellite dish, and a cellular phone to trade. When he gets bored, he takes off on another trip. While finishing this manuscript, I received a letter he had sent from New Zealand. He thanked me for presenting this opportunity to run his life just the way he chose. I quote here only the last line of the letter:

. . . This [trading! is the most fun I have ever had in my life, with my clothes on.
