I’m with Jigsaw. Is the live or is the memorex version better? Time lapse at all? Also, just can’t help thinking Blah on the photos You can’t beat a real memory of something so beautiful.
It is far BETTER in real life! It hurls back and forth, explodes, shoots like burning arrows…
These are among the very best photos I have ever seen of the Nordic light, but no photo can ever match the real thing. If you get a chance to go as far north and as far away from city lights as you can, at winter time in 5-6 years when sunspot activity will be back at maximum, you won’t regret it!
this is nothing but an art to arise interest in sky by using moe color-contrasts of green-black-blue-pink etc.
but in reality it is not so it is of blackish & some smoky type in the night and in a clear day lightest blue.
however sometimes it seems sparkles in sky due to the shooting stars thats it

Great photos. I’ve seen a lot of photos from Sweden and Norway, but from Iceland is better visible, I think.

One more question. In real is it as good visible as on photographs?
